In the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey and the initial response, NECHAMA is transitioning into a recovery program to assist storm-affected families to rebuild after this historic storm. Our project will be focused in and around the greater Houston community.
We will be providing services including installing drywall and insulation – as well as other basic repairs to homes.
Starting in April, we are accepting volunteers to join our efforts. NECHAMA welcomes volunteers, from around the world, with a passion to help others regardless of religious faith or background. No previous disaster rebuild experience is necessary- our skilled team leaders will teach you everything you need to know to make a difference.
Whether you’re local and want to join us for a day, or from around the country and want to spend a week with our team, we provide opportunities to engage in Tikkun Olam and assist storm-affected families.
