June 1st marks the beginning of the 2018 Hurricane Season in the Atlantic, one that could prove to be as destructive as last year. Already, weeks ahead of the official start of the season, NECHAMA and the National Hurricane Center have already begun tracking potential tropical disturbances, one of which is currently affecting Florida and surrounding states.
As we continue our work in Texas and Puerto Rico, our team is diligently working to prepare for this season’s events. We don’t know where our help will be needed, but we know that when the time comes, we must be able to answer the call.
