Three of NECHAMA’s core values are acts of lovingkindness (Gemilut Chasadim), love the stranger (Ahavat Orchim), and compassion (Rachamim). Today, as we celebrate those in our lives who have meaning to us, let us also remember those strangers who are too often in need of lovingkindness and compassion in the wake of disasters.
