NECHAMA has a long history of interfaith collaboration. Following the antisemitic conspiracy theories that sprouted after Hurricane Helene’s arrival last year, we made a renewed commitment to work with other faiths and showcase that Jewish values are American values. In the past few months, we’ve had the pleasure of working with Week of Compassion, the relief, refugee, and development mission fund of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). As our partnership extends, we felt it was important to share the value of interfaith work.
Today, eJewishPhilanthropy posted an op-ed from Tzlil McDonald, our Project Director: Combating Antisemitism titled “From devastation to hope: The power of shared values” about the impact of different faiths working alongside each other.
