Over the past weekend, violent storms and numerous tornadoes caused damage across Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
Preliminary reports show significant, widespread damage. Emergency management and first responders are in the process of making initial damage assessments across each of these states.
While our team and resources are currently committed to our work in Louisiana following Hurricane Ida, NECHAMA is closely monitoring developments as damage assessments are shared with the KY VOAD and surrounding state VOAD’s. We will continue to monitor reports in the upcoming days and will post new information as it develops.
