This Saturday night marks Tisha B’av, a day of Jewish mourning. Many Jewish people choose to fast on this day and observe various mourning rituals. Throughout Jewish history, there have been many tragic occurrences on Tisha B’av, including the destruction of both historic Jewish temples in Jerusalem.
