NECHAMA is preparing for a potential deployment to Texas in response to Hurricane Harvey. In the next few weeks, we will be sending assessment teams to survey and scout the region for potential deployment locations once first responders have cleared us to enter communities.
Hurricane Harvey has devastated large sections of the Texas coast and inland where rainfall totals have reached 20+ inches of rain. NECHAMA is looking at a potential deployment to engage in muck and gut activities to assist homeowners affected by flooding due to rainfall and storm surge.
