On April 30th and May 1st, a strong line of storms swept from Dallas, Texas to central Illinois – spawning at least two dozen tornados, damaging hail, and resulting 3-4+ inches of rain. In SW Missouri, a region NECHAMA has responded to in the past, Emergency Managers are reporting the after effects of both flooding and tornado damage in multiple Counties.
NECHAMA is dispatching a team to the region to assess the damage and needs to determine if and where we can assist.
