Meet Shannon McNamara, NECHAMA’s new Administrative Coordinator. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Studies from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, Shannon moved back to her hometown of the Twin Cities. She spent two years serving in AmeriCorps and with the Conservation Corps of Minnesota. Shannon says, “It was during my time with the Conservation Corps that I fell in love with disaster relief work and volunteerism. I have since worked in both finance and development for multiple nonprofits. I was drawn to NECHAMA’s mission of Tikkun Olam and look forward to providing financial and development support to further the work done by our organization and volunteers.”
