Over the past 60 days, the NECHAMA shower trailer had been supplying residents of the Powderhorn Sanctuary with access to clean, private showers. Providing our shower trailer was a simple act of dignity for those original residents who were displaced by the Twin Cities civil unrest. Although the resident population had changed over the weeks, the showers were always a much appreciated asset.
On Friday, August 14, all of the Powderhorn Sanctuary residents were relocated to parks permitted for tent cities. NECHAMA is very happy that we could provide this service to our neighbors for the past two months.
