It was a busy end to our week and weekend. On Thursday, the park department successfully connected power and water to the NECHAMA shower trailer, giving residents of the Minneapolis sanctuary access to hot showers. One of our founders, Gene, was kind enough to join our Director of Operations on Friday to fix some electrical and plumbing issues that popped up. Volunteers and staff completed repairing and painting one of the many damaged Minneapolis businesses and in partnership with Footprint Project, relocated the solar tent utilized as the Medic Tent, at the Minneapolis sanctuary.

Kyle Smith, one of our newest board members, traveled to the Twin Cities from Kentucky to get his hands dirty. It has been a pleasure to have Kyle here, and we look forward to his next trip to work alongside us.

We appreciate everyone’s ongoing support. Please donate today to continue our mission here in the Twin Cities.
