Markian brings together experiences in humanitarian aid, education, human services, nonprofit management, and field logistics as NECHAMA’s Operations Manager. He has worked with organizations including the American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, and a range of community-based nonprofits and schools, shaping both his big-picture understanding of disaster response and his practical, hands-on approach to operations. In his role at NECHAMA, Markian is committed to building clear, effective systems that meet the needs of both volunteers and aid recipients. In tandem, he believes that everyone benefits when acts of service are paired with thoughtful reflection about why service matters and how to serve communities with humility, authenticity and care.
