NECHAMA Jewish Response to Disaster welcomes AmeriCorps NCCC team Delta 4, who just arrived to help us with mucking and gutting and tree work assisting those impacted by Hurricane Ida.
This incredible program is looking for young adults, age 18-26, to join them starting this summer! NCCC covers transportation, food, lodging, medical benefits, and a stipend, plus $6,495 for college expenses!
Apply by April 30 to the “Traditional Corps, July-April Vicksburg, MS” listing. Successful applicants to the July-April Vicksburg, MS listing can serve with a variety of organizations, or compete to join NCCC teams dedicated to the U.S. Forest Service, gaining wildland firefighting certification and a great shot at a firefighting job.
